Rebecca and Roy radiate pure joy. They met on the rowing team at Auburn and had their first date at The Club in Birmingham. I loved that they decided to have their wedding reception at The Club because it made it that much more meaningful!  We started the day at Canterbury UMC and weather could not have been more perfect. Rebecca’s bridesmaids wore periwinkle with the most beautiful and colorful flowers by Lauren Atkinson. Rebecca and Roy had the sweetest ceremony with a homily by Rebecca’s dad followed by easily the cutest reaction I’ve ever seen when they were announced as Mr. and Mrs. You have to see the photos of these two just after they were finally married – you won’t be able to handle how cute they are!! We headed just over the hill to The Club to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. Roy Brown and got a chance to catch a few photos overlooking Birmingham before the sun set. Rebecca studied event management at Auburn and has dreams of being a wedding planner, so it’s no surprise that guests were catching their breath as they walked into the reception.

I loved getting to know Rebecca and Roy through their engagement photos and wedding planning. During the beginning of the wedding planning, Rebecca told me that she was most excited about “marrying her best friend.” Their love could not express that statement more. They are always laughing, always smiling and always happy together. Capturing their love as they start their marriage together was truly an honor.
