Bonnie Grace and Tucker’s Classic Scottish Canterbury UMC and The Club Wedding was truly magical. From the golden sun-set portraits and bag-pipe player at their ceremony to their Christmas tree reception and Scottish-themed details, every part of Bonnie Grace and Tucker’s wedding day was thoughtful and timeless. There were several details from their wedding day with extra meaning. The cake topper had been in Bonnie Grace’s family for several generations and each bride paints the couple to resemble the real life bride and groom. Bonnie Grace’s shoes were made to match Tucker’s tartan (McIntosh) and Bonnie Grace also created herself the golden thistle head piece she wore.
Bonnie Grace went with a classic, timeless look with gold, black, and ivory accented with fresh greenery. Both her and Tucker have Scottish heritages so I love that she incorporated so many of those details. They had heather at the rehearsal dinner, and on the wedding day, tartan and thistles wherever possible. And of course the boys wore kilts! My favorite comments of the day was from one of the groomsmen: “Now I understand why girls get so excited when their dresses have pockets.” We all died laughing!
There were so many times I caught Tucker just admiring Bonnie Grace and I melted every. single. time. These two are meant for each other and I was so honored to capture their love. Bonnie Grace and Tucker, you two embody a servants heart and I can’t wait to see how your care and compassion changes the world.
