I’ve been lucky enough to capture some amazing weddings these last few years, and I’ll be honest I’ve kept a lot of them to myself 😉 My 2017 goal is to share more of these beautiful moments with you and trust me there are a lot of those from this wedding! Margaret and Nikko’s June wedding was a dream to photograph. They got married at Margaret’s childhood home in Decatur, AL and celebrated under the southern stars in her backyard dancing the night away. We felt like family hearing the stories of her childhood home and the history behind all their family trinkets scattered throughout the house. They had their ceremony in the front yard as the sun was setting behind the big oak tree. Between the flower girls’ french lace dresses and the hand made chocolate from the famous decatur chocolate shop that many teens grow up working at, my southern heart was in love. Their was so much tradition and history in this day and I’m happy to relive it all over again 🙂
