Two years ago, I met Katie when I photographed her sister’s January wedding. It was a JOY working with their family for her wedding, so I was thrilled when the time came for Katie and Ralls to tie the knot and even more honored that they asked me to be a part of their day. The weather was to die for (especially for a May wedding in Alabama) at a perfect 72 degrees. Their parent’s married at Reid chapel so it was the perfect place to have their own wedding. Samford’s campus is stunning, and paired with Katie’s classic and clean taste made for one beautiful wedding.

Their wedding reception was held at the Florentine downtown and it fit their day perfectly. The windows and natural light were a dream and the cakes were some of the coolest cakes I have seen! The band was amazing and (as you can see in the pictures) definitely brought the party (along with some fun props 😉 Enjoy!
