She says he is kind, loving, thoughtful, generous, caring, smart, hardworking, empathetic and he says she is magnetic, strong and supportive.

Kathryn and Ned’s Classic New Orleans wedding is one I wish we could re-live every weekend! Not just because this couple and their families are so friendly and kind, but also because the whole weekend was so joyous and fun. We started their wedding day at the famous Hotel Monteleone and it was such a timeless back drop for this classic New Orleans wedding. Her dress was stunning and so much of Kathryn’s style reminded us of Audrey Hepburn. Being able to capture the emotional moments of this day was such an honor. From reading their letters to the first look, these two fully lived into each and every moment.

We wandered the streets of NOLA for some portraits before heading to Arnauds for some family portraits. Their wall of etched glass is stunning and made for a such a gorgeous and fitting backdrop for these photos. From there it was time to get these two married! They chose St. Louis Cathedral for their ceremony, and let me tell you… there is a reason this gorgeous church is so famous. It is so stunning and it fell almost heavenly with the sun pouring in during their ceremony.

No New Orleans wedding is complete without a second line! This was one longgg second line and I felt like paparazzi chasing these two and all their friends and family down the streets of NOLA. Kathryn is the only girl of five siblings and watching these four brothers both love on (and make fun of her) throughout the day was so sweet. One of my favorite moments was Kathryn’s little brother carrying her train at the end of their second line. It was so precious!

Kathryn and Ned’s reception filled up the many gorgeous rooms of Arnauds. As a side note, I cannot say enough good things about the staff, planners, and entire team at Arnauds. They are caring, kind, fun professionals and made every minute of our time with them flawless. This was such a fun reception and the dancing was top notch thanks, mostly to the Rewind Band. We loved dancing and singing along with this crowd so much! We ended the night throwing rose petals and sending off these two adorable newlyweds!

Kathryn and Ned, thank you so much for entrusting me and my team to capture your day! It was beyond an honor to be a part of your wedding. You two make others feel so loved and celebrated every day and I hope you felt just a piece of that on your own wedding day.
